FAQ

ASKED

Will it run on my PC?

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. An NVIDIA graphics card makes it faster. Without one it runs on your processor.

Does it work in every app?

Anywhere you can type: browsers, Slack, Word, email, code editors, AI chats.

Does it need the internet?

Once, to download the speech model on first run. After that it works offline.

Which languages?

It's built on Whisper, which understands many languages. English is where it's sharpest.

Why is it free?

Because typing is over and we said so. Follow us if you like it. That's the deal.

Why do you need my email?

So we can tell you when there's an update. That's it. No newsletter, never shared or sold. Ask and you're off the list.

Is it safe? Windows warned me.

Windows warns about apps that aren't code-signed yet, and we're applying for free open-source signing. NuffSaid is open source: every line is on GitHub, and the release lists the installer's SHA-256 so you can check it's the real file.
